Hi!! I'm Alex, 19 years old. This blog is an amalgam of things that I like online!! Whether it's youtubers, tv shows or stmg else, idk. Background from thatoneleftshoe (on tumblr) and icon made by my friend artisticjabberwork (on tumblr)
A quick little tribute to ol’ Fordsy who appeared a year ago (09/03/15) in NWHS. That episode remained my favourite until the finale rolled around. Not only was it super exciting, but the Twin Theory turned out to be true. Also it was after this episode that I really joined the fandom.
Words can’t even begin to DESCRIBE how thankful I am for the beautiful show!!!! Every single wonderful extraordinary person who has helped to bring Gravity Falls to us is my personal hero!!
Whenever I was feeling down, the Pines were always there to pick me back up.
Grunkle Stan taught us to never give up on family.
Mabel taught us that love and trust are the most powerful things in the universe.
Dipper taught us that family is worth fighting for.
Ford taught us that being a hero means fighting for what’s right, even when it seems impossible.
But most of all, Alex Hirsch taught us that just because you’re growing up doesn’t mean you have to grow up.
Gravity Falls, all the wacky, weird and wonderful people that inhabit it, and the Pines family will be in my heart forever. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us the best Summer we ever could have asked for!!!! We love you!!!
(side headcanon: i actually think that Ford’s sweater was originally Stan’s for reasons given in this post, so i think that hat and sweater actually came as a pair. but Stan never wears sweaters so he lets Ford keep the sweater while he kept the hat)
The ONLY thing better than the ending with them on the boat, to me, would have to be Stan and Ford excitedly running around a fishing store like two little kids, grabbing random things and shouting “Do you think we’ll need this…thing!?” followed by “I dont know! Lets get it anyways!” And Stan, for once not caring about the price because he’s just really happy.
