He created hope and love in all of us, and gave this generation and so many more to come a vision that we can all better ourselves. Those words apply to Leonard Nimoy greatly. Wise, and very human. R.I.P Leonard Nimoy.

THIS NEEDS TO STOP
I’m sure all of you guys have heard about the wonderful miss Cassidy Campbell who won Homecoming Queen at her school in California. Once again a moment that should have been celebrated is now being ridiculed and degraded by the ignorance and hatred in our ‘fellow people’. This is absolutely sick and disgusting. The amount of HATRED that this girl is getting is simply ASTOUNDING and it needs to stop. This girl is a human being, just like EVERYONE ELSE, and the fact that she has to go through ANY of this blatant hatred and corruption makes me sick to my stomach. And of course she’s not the only one either. Thousands of trans* people have to go through this EVERY SINGLE DAY. It infuriates me how people think that it’s OKAY and even RIGHT to degrade someone like that. Goddamn it people, get your head out of your asses and start acting like human beings.EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT, BUT WE’RE ALL HUMAN. STOP SPREADING HATE.
Transgender homecoming queen breaks down under backlash
“Bullies ruined a transgender teen’s first days as a homecoming queen.
Cassidy Lynn Campbell, 16, cried tears of joy on Friday when she won the crown at her California high school, but euphoria turned to anguish when hate-filled comments began to roll in.
“I can never have something good happen to me and people just be happy for me — never,” the sobbing teen said in a YouTube video posted Saturday. “I’m always judged and I’m always looked down upon.”
That’s what you see when you look up her name, now. YEAH MAKING A GIRL CRY OUT OF DESPAIR BECAUSE SHE IS DIFFERENT IS REALLY WHAT YOU WANTED, RIGHT? SHE CAN’T JUST BE HAPPY AND FEEL LOVED, SHE HAS TO BE BULLIED AND AFRAID. SHE’S THE UNDERDOG, SO SHE’S AN EASY TARGET TO HURT. EVERYONE SHOULD FEEL ASHAMED OF THIS DISGUSTING BULLYING BEHAVIOR WHICH HAS BEEN CONTINUED, EVEN THE PEOPLE NOT INVOLVED.
