At last I’m able to show you guys the finished pieces! Lots of ups and downs making these, but I’m SO pleased with how they turned out. I love them to bits! They’ll be on display in the library I work at in June with some other paper art of mine…that I really need to start working on. These two I don’t think I could even consider selling, but if I can manage to get some really great quality pics, I’d consider prints if anyone were interested.
sometimes, even the most cheerful needs to be cheered up
so!! i really wanted to draw Mabel hugging and being really affectionate to her family, and generally just cheering them up, but then i was like ‘well, if she cheers everyone else up, who’d cheer up her up?’ and the last pic was born!!
if you’ll notice, each patch of grass has different thins in them!! one has yellow dandelions, one has white ones, and one has mushrooms. and the last pic has all three of them, to symbolize the family all coming together
it’s kinda hard to tell, but Ford is kissing Mabel on the head, haha
i love how Dipper wore a mini Stan suit in Boss Mabel, and how Mabel and Ford have a similar fashion sense, so of course i had to draw some silly parallels
Every time Ford calls Dipper “my boy” I just get so happy!!! How adorable is that?! Sometimes I wonder what’s going on in Dipper’s head whenever his idol gives him a compliment or two!!!
A quick little tribute to ol’ Fordsy who appeared a year ago (09/03/15) in NWHS. That episode remained my favourite until the finale rolled around. Not only was it super exciting, but the Twin Theory turned out to be true. Also it was after this episode that I really joined the fandom.
