A dream demon betrayed him, leaving his sanity and trust in tatters. He survived thirty years on the run as a wanted interdimensional outlaw. Faced with his worst fears, being held captive and tortured by the one he’d fought to escape, the world under the demon’s control despite his best efforts to stop him, he still didn’t break. Yet after all he’d been through, Ford was not ready for this…

The Pines family is complete!!
Dipper and Mabel made their debut last year, and I promised myself I’d follow up with Stan and Ford. I’m hoping to get some high quality shots of all four and get them together in one post, but for now we have the classic Mystery Twins together!

Long way home
I think Ford wanted to get home despite the danger, but he almost lost all hope after 30 years. So he sometimes looked up at the weird skies of another dimensions and wished it were the skies of his home dimension.
sometimes, even the most cheerful needs to be cheered up
so!! i really wanted to draw Mabel hugging and being really affectionate to her family, and generally just cheering them up, but then i was like ‘well, if she cheers everyone else up, who’d cheer up her up?’ and the last pic was born!!
if you’ll notice, each patch of grass has different thins in them!! one has yellow dandelions, one has white ones, and one has mushrooms. and the last pic has all three of them, to symbolize the family all coming together
it’s kinda hard to tell, but Ford is kissing Mabel on the head, haha
(i really like drawing Mabel in these colors)
